I had fun in Sentosa. Being there felt like having peace on earth. Almost. With the exception of the weather. Sentosa is a small island near mainland Singapore—not that Singapore isn't an island already. It's tiny. Before going there, I didn't know what to expect. When we got out of the train, we were greeted with an impossible large statue of The Merlion. I wanted to hug it and worship it. Really, so cute, and yet, so regal. Can I please take it home with me? Pretty pretty please?
Anywayyyy, Sentosa is beautiful, with the exception of the tourist restaurants *coughSubwaycough* and other tourist things. I love gardens and it made me want to live there. The heat and humidity wasn't lost here (I don't think Singapore could ever be without humidity), but it was a sight to behold nevertheless. I had the most fun here, but of course, company is everything, and I had wonderful company also.
I was disappointed to not be able to visit the second location of Sentosa. My trip was cut short due to my cousin changing that day's dinner time to an hour earlier. Sadly, I never got to visit the other place before my trip ended.
